ABOUT THE EVENT

Since 2011 the Entrepreneurs Forum has brought entrepreneurs, business owners and resource providers together to network, share ideas and discuss the issues that matter most to entrepreneurs. This event provides numerous opportunities for growth and connection. It takes place in May of each year and features quality networking, experienced speakers, panelists and exhibitors. Our theme this year is Re-emergence with the goal of getting entrepreneurs information that will help businesses reemerge from the last 2 years stronger than ever.

 

The 2022 Entrepreneurs Forum is set for May 20, 2022 from 12pm to 2pm Eastern Time on Zoom.

Registration is FREE for National Entrepreneurs Association Members and only $47.00 for Guests.

Ray Moulden

Allstate Moulden Agency

Ray Moulden, owner of Allstate Moulden Agency, earned his license to sell Business, Auto, Home, Accident, Health and Life Insurance from the State of Michigan in 2013. He has been named a top producer for business and personal insurance sales in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. In March 2015 Ray was chosen as the featured expert on Fox 2’s weekly Financial segment “Money Monday” as a professional advisor on the topic of cutting insurance cost. Moulden learned perseverance and attention to detail from his studies at Osborn High School, Computer Science at Wayne State University, SCORE C.E.O. training program and the Goldman Sachs 10 Small Business program.

Ray is on the board of the National Entrepreneurs Association of Michigan, Metropolitan YMCA Executive Board member, Detroit Regional Chamber, Detroit Metro Visitors and Bureau, Southfield Chamber, Jewish Vocational Services, and serves on the Michigan, Board of Governors for the MAIPF appointed by Michigan Director of the Depart. of Insurance and Financial Services.

Christine Allyson C.Ht. is a Personal Change Consultant with over 35 years’ experience helping those who’ve lost hope or feel helpless. She uses a customized approach and utilizes the most effective techniques tailored to each individual’s issues and goals. Individuals working with Christine are often surprised at how easily they can successfully address and resolve their issues quicker than expected. She works with clients who have a wide range of issues that include: Decreasing Stress and Anxiety, Difficulty Coping due to: procrastination, grief, caregiving overwhelm, relationship betrayals, divorce, job loss, emotionally navigating the cancer journey. She has assisted clients to lose weight, stop smoking, and move through life’s major transitions including career shifts. Christine is author of “So You Want to Make a Change?” and certified in Hypnotherapy, BWRT,  and a speaker / expert on change & transformation for personal growth.

Dell Technologies/Entrepreneur

Bria Simmons is from Charlotte, NC and graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a major in Merchandising and a minor in Marketing. Following graduating, she wanted to learn more about marketing, so she began taking LinkedIn marketing courses as well as Adobe Design courses. By August 2018, she landed a job as an Inside Sales Representative at Dell Technologies. She moved from Charlotte, NC to Nashville, TN and started her career journey. As a Sales Representative, Bria learned many skills around communication, relationship building, and strategic thinking. She met new colleagues as well as dance friends. She used the skills learned and extensive network to begin teaching ballet and other classes for adults looking to strengthen their dance skills. In 2022, she created the brand Choose the Mood and recently released her gratitude journal. Outside of work and business ventures she enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and taking dance classes.

No Fear Cafe

Alicia McKay is a Rice University graduate who began her career as a math tutor. With ingenuity, aspiration, and a masters degree in Education, Alicia is the founder of No Fear Cafe, a co-learning space where she provides a safe space for the exchange of information for children and adults. The work of No Fear Cafe makes a difference in the lives of people, communities, and the environment. No Fear Café’s work elevates its clientele’s economic, environmental, and social well-being by promoting academic excellence, personal and professional development, strategic community alignment, and upward mobility. Alicia is board President for the non-profit organization, The Literacy Project, a board trustee President for the Harper Woods School District and a Christian author and consultant. However, her most important position in life is that of a wife to her husband Joseph and mother to her two children, a 5-year-old son and an 8 year-old daughter.

Geoff Marek is a Storage Field Marketing Manager at Dell Technologies with a focus around Dell's Small Business Segment. Joining Dell after graduating from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2009, Geoff had an opportunity to fine tune his relationship building and selling skills while holding roles ranging from Inside Sales Rep down the line to Complex Solutions Specialist focusing on providing enterprise solutions for customers.  The ladder part of his tenure prior to his current role as a Storage Field Marketing Manager was spent in Leadership both on the Enterprise side and Software and Peripherals organization for Dell Technologies.

 

Geoff attributes much of his success in both personal and professional life from growing up with parents who each owned and continue to own small businesses as sole proprietors.  He learned early in life that the keys to success are simple; Treat your customers as if you won’t get a second chance, keep your word, and set appropriate expectations.  Simple yet applicable keys to success.
