Dr. ZaLonya Allen has been an entrepreneur, professional speaker and coach for 20 years. She has been involved in five for-profit startups and one non-profit startup. Dr. Allen is the founder of two entrepreneurial organizations, National Entrepreneurs Association and South East Michigan Entrepreneurs Association. She is currently the President and CEO of the National Entrepreneurs Association where she coordinates training events to help entrepreneurs achieve their goals.
As a Leadership Development Speaker and Trainer she has presented for organizations throughout the country including Ford UAW, Edison, Society for Human Resource Management, Macomb Community College, Clemson University and the federal government to name a few. She earned a Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Michigan, a Masters in Industrial Relations from Wayne State University and a Doctorate in Psychology from North Central University. She enjoys teaching psychology classes and is currently an Online Psychology Professor. Dr. Allen is a member of the American Psychological Association and the National Speakers Association. She recently accepted an invitation to sit on the board of the South Oakland County YMCA.
Chris Dargin is a Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management Division. In his Advisory practice, Chris works with clients to develop an end-to-end financial system covering their needs from investments to business acquisitions. His clients include Business owners, Former pro athletes, Retirees, Corporate Executives, Non-profits and foundations. Previously Chris worked in various high profile roles with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where he was in charge of finance cost optimization for several high profile vehicles.
Chris is also a serial entrepreneur. He started a successful consulting firm and a financial technology company focused on banking needs for low income families. He has consulted startup founders on ideation, strategy and funding sources at several Detroit universities. He is also active in the Metro Detroit Angel Investor community. He has a passion for helping entrepreneurs realize and actuate their dreams. Chris earned his BA and MBA from Wayne State University. Chris will be a part of the panel discussion on funding.

As Executive Director of the Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce, she has helped to empower area businesses and entrepreneurs with the tools and resources they need to thrive. Her efforts at reaching millennials and new business professionals have brought a torrent of new ideas, concepts, and synergy to the Chamber.

Tina Williams, BAA, MBA, is the Founder & COO of QT Business Solutions. She is a former Banker with Chase and Fifth Third Banks. She is also a Board Certified Master Financial Professional and Chartered Asset Manager. She started the business while working full time at Chase Bank. During her time at the bank she noticed that the majority of entrepreneurs and small business owners who applied for financing were unprepared. They had no business plans and many of them didn’t fully understand the banks’ approval criteria for business financing. This resulted in many of them being denied for business financing. This is how she came up with the idea to start QT Business Solutions which helps entrepreneurs and small business owners properly prepare themselves to apply for business financing. Tina will sit on the business resources panel to discuss resources her company offers business owners.

Mark S. Lee is President/CEO of The LEE Group, a marketing consulting firm. He is the former VP of Brand Development and Marketing Communications at Florida Blue. Prior, Mr. Lee held senior-marketing leadership roles with nationally known companies including, PepsiCo and The Auto Club Group (AAA). Lee hosts a weekly radio show, “Small Talk with Mark S. Lee” broadcasted on CBS Detroit’s WXYT 1270 and streamed via cbsdetroit.com. He is a public speaker and an adjunct professor of Marketing at Eastern Michigan University. Lee contributes on numerous television programs. Lee is the creator and host of “EMU Today”, a general affairs program focused on Eastern Michigan University. He holds a MBA in Marketing from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BBA from EMU. Mr. Lee will moderate the funding panel.
